What techniques do we use to value your gold?
To determine the sell price of gold, our experts use various techniques, both quantitative and qualitative:
- We weigh your gold right in front of you, to the nearest hundredth, using our certified scales.
- We perform acid tests with what we call a touchstone. This step enables us to determine the alloy of your jewelry, ingot, coin... We can also evaluate the purity of your gold (24-carat, 22-carat, 18-carat...).
